BIO

Chris Corning is an athlete from Arvada, Colorado. Chris was part of the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club prior to joining the U.S. Team. He started snowboarding at the age of 7 and has excelled in the sport ever since. Soon after his beginning he won his first world cup at the young age of 15. Chris then went on to win two medals during the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championship in 2017 before entering his first Olympics in 2018 where he placed fourth. He now has a total of 15 podiums and 23 career finishes in the World Cup. When he is not snowboarding, Chris enjoys dirt biking, skateboarding, and playing frisbee golf.

  • 1. Chris made his first Olympic team in 2018 and just missed the medals with a fourth place finish in the debut of big air snowboarding.
  • 2. Chris grew up in Denver, Colorado and started snowboarding at the age of seven. He won his first World Cup at 15 years old.
  • 3. In 2017, Corning won two medals during the FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships.
