PARK CITY, UT (Nov. 18, 2015) – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is mourning the loss of one of its veteran officials and leaders. Bob Dart, 64, passed away from a reported heart attack on Nov. 17 while working on the mountain at Winter Park Resort where he served as director of mountain maintenance. UPDATE: A celebration of Bob's life will be held beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6 at Winter Park's West Portal Station.

LAKE LOUISE, AB (Dec. 4) - Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) successfully completed her first Audi FIS Alpine World Cup training run of the season in Lake Louise, where she has won a record 14 times. Vonn, who has been sidelined from World Cup action since the 2013 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, finished a conservative 22nd behind run winner Carolina Ruiz Castillo of Spain. Stacey Cook (Mammoth Mountain, CA) was the top American in sixth with Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) ninth.

PARK CITY, UT (Nov 30) – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) today named Helly Hansen as the official baselayer of the U.S. Alpine Ski Team. The team’s 48 athletes will wear Helly Hansen’s baselayers during competitions beginning this week at the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup event at Beaver Creek, CO, through the end of the 2016 season.
