Under the sun and on home snow, Stifel U.S. Ski Team athlete Lindsey Vonn secured a second place finish in the super-G at the Stifel Sun Valley Finals, an Audi FIS Alpine World Cup in Sun Valley, Idaho. The podium finish marks her first World Cup podium since coming out of retirement and her first podium since 2018.
Starting with the Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team in early June, U.S. Ski & Snowboard worked closely with several domestic ski areas, including Mt. Bachelor, to coordinate unique summer on-snow training camp opportunities for its national teams.

Racers who finish the regular World Cup season within the top 25 rank of any discipline are eligible to race. For the first time, the races will fall over two weekends with one tech and one speed weekend.

Exactly 12 years after she began racing on the World Cup, Mikaela Shiffrin of the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team won her 87th World Cup in the Åre, Sweden slalom on March 11, 2023, breaking the tie of 86 wins set by Ingemar Stenmark in 1989 to become the winningest alpine skier in history.
