SUGARLOAF, ME (March 23, 2015) – America’s most prestigious domestic alpine ski racing event returns to Sugarloaf this week as the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships get underway March 25-29. A field of nearly 200 athletes from around the United States and the world will take part in the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) event which returns to the USSA Eastern region for the first time since 2008.

VAIL, CO (May 3) – Plans for the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships are well underway as officials from the FIS, the Vail Valley Foundation, Tridem Sports, EBU, Vail Resorts and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association wrapped up two days of Coordination Committee meetings Wednesday in Vail. Officials visited each venue, including both the Birds of Prey and Golden Peak finish areas, as well as operational and ceremony sites.

CORONET PEAK, New Zealand (Aug. 7) - Olympic and World Champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT), five-time Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller (Franconia, NH) and the men's technical team have now logged about a week on snow in New Zealand to open the first part of the on-snow prep period. It is the first time MIller has run gates since late in the 2012 season. He missed all of 2013 while recovering from a knee injury. With early sessions at Round Hill, the camp has now shifted to Coronet Peak with daily sessions of both giant slalom and slalom.
