BIO
Freestyle skier Mac Forehand made history in 2019 by winning the Overall World Cup Title in Slopestyle at just 17 years of age. It was his first full season competing on the World Cup circuit and from the moment he placed second in Stubai, Austria, he never looked back.
He followed that result with a strong fifth-place finish in France and a dominant win at Mammoth Mountain. Qualifying for the finals in every World Cup event he entered, Mac amassed enough overall points to take home the prestigious Crystal Globe and stand on top of the podium at the final World Cup event in Silviplana, Switzerland.
A lifelong skier who credits his older sister Savannah with inspiring him to start freestyle skiing at the age of six, he transitioned from moguls to Slopestyle and park skiing at 12 and started winning contests shortly after that.
" I think the strategy today was just get speed and go big and I felt I was able to do that."
