Snowboard Project Gold
Project Gold is an invitation‑only talent identification and development camp. Invitations are extended to top‑performing development athletes who have competed at the Futures Tour, the Revolution Tour, or the USASA National Championships. Invitations are released on a rolling basis, with prequalified athletes receiving their notifications beginning in late February or early March.
In 2026, we are excited to returning to High Cascade Snowboard Camp and Windells Ski Camp to host Project Gold. As in previous years, this camp will focus on high-performance athletic preparation and progression. In addition to working on new tricks, athletes will participate in drills and structured training designed to enhance these skills. Specifically, coaches will conduct a comprehensive athlete evaluation in the following areas:
- Trick portfolio – Ability to spin in all directions
- Technical skill – Carving ability, grab variety, and style
- Coachability – Ability to integrate feedback
- Attitude – Commitment, teamwork, and adaptability to various coaches and athletes
- Physical strength and conditioning
This camp is designed to help athletes improve both their trick execution and overall ski and snowboard performance. Athlete evaluation and development are multi-dimensional, and long-term success involves factors beyond just contest results.
