LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland (March 12) - Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) was tenth to lead the U.S. Ski Team in the final downhill of the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup season Wednesday. Swiss Lara Gut picked up the win while Germany's Maria Hoefl-Riesch took the crystal globe, despite not finishing the race. Super G is on tap for Thursday. Universal Sports will broadcast same-day coverage of the downhill at 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. EDT.

JASNA, Slovakia (March 4) - Team Norway dominated the FIS Alpine Junior World Ski Championships Tuesday with a clean sweep of the men's giant slalom podium led by Olympic giant slalom bronze medalist Henrik Kristoffersen. Sandy Vietze (Warren, VT; Green Mountain Valley School) led the U.S. with 37th as the team was hampered by missing to giant slalom skier Nick Krause (Northboro, MA; Stratton Mountain School) who was injured during the downhill. Medal competition continues Wednesday with men's slalom and potentially the women's downhill if weather cooperates.

ASPEN, CO (Nov. 25) - U.S. Ski Team rising star Mikaela Shiffrin scored the seventh top 10 of her career with a strong second run in the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational, finshing seventh. Austria's Kathrin Zettel took the win. The finish boosted Shiffrin to fifth in the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup overall and slalom standings. The race was broadcast live on NBC Sports Network. Lindsey Vonn opted to skip the race in favor of flying to Lake Louise a day early to prep for the season opening speed series on Canada.

KVITFJELL, Norway (March 3) - World Champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) and Olympic bronze medalist Andrew Weibrecht (Lake Placid, NY) tied for 18th Sunday to lead the U.S. Ski Team in the final Audi FIS Alpine World Cup super G before World Cup Finals. Norwegian Aksel Lund Svindal won on home snow to lock the men's super G title prior to the final race with his fourth victory in the discipline this season. GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (Feb. 24) - In his first race after taking triple gold at the World Championships Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) finished third in the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup giant slalom in Garmisch. Ligety has now finished on the podium of all six World Cup giant slalom races this season with four victories and two third place finishes. He leads the discpline standings 520-415 over Austrian Marcel Hirscher, who was second to Frenchman Alexis Pinturault in his career first GS win.

KRANJSKA GORA, Slovenia (Jan. 22) – Audi FIS Alpine World Cup leader Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) continued to put consistency in her technical skiing, recording her best slalom finish of the season in seventh at Kranjska Gora. The finish left Vonn's overall World Cup lead to 282 over Slovenia's Tina Maze. Austrian Michaela Kirchgasser snapped the five-slalom win string of her teammate Marlies Schild in taking the win.

PORTOROZ, Slovenia (May 31, 2017) - The International Ski Federation has confirmed 10 alpine and freestyle World Cup events in the USA for the 2017-18 season. Final calendars were approved after the conclusion of the FIS Calendar Conference last week. The FIS Alpine World Cup stops in Killington, Vermont and Beaver Creek, Colorado, and FIS Freestyle World Cup stops in Park City, Utah and Lake Placid, New York will be part of the selection process for the U.S. Olympic teams.
