VAL ST. COME, QC (Jan. 19) – Bradley Wilson (Butte, MT) secured his spot on the U.S. Olympic freestyle team Sunday with a third-place finish at the moguls FIS World Cup at Val St. Come. It was his second podium in a week after his third-place finish at Lake Placid Jan. 15, giving him the minimum criteria for qualification. Alex Bilodeau of Canada took the win for the men while teammate Chloe Dufour-Lapointe won for the women. Sunday closed the Olympic selection period. Official team nominations will be announced Jan. 21.

PARK CITY, UT (Jan. 18) – Freeskiing took another historic step towards its Olympic debut as the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced the nomination of 11 halfpipe and slopestyle skiing athletes Saturday night at the conclusion of the Visa U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix presented by The North Face. The events will be contested for the first time in Sochi.
