VAL THORENS, France (Jan. 17) – John Teller (Mammoth Lakes, CA) muscled his way to victory at the final skicross Olympic qualifier at the FIS World Cup in Val Thorens. It was the best U.S. result of the season after Teller placed 11th in a race in Val Thorens in December. Victor Oehling Norberg of Sweden and Canadian David Duncan filled out the podium. U.S. Olympic team nominations are expected Jan. 21.

VAL ST COME, QC (Jan. 14) - Mac Bohonnon (Madison, CT) earned a career best second place finish Tuesday at the rainy Val St. Come World Cup. It marks only the eighth World Cup in his young career. Bohonnon earned his World Cup start through his stellar results at selection events in Park City, UT earlier this season. The aerials team now heads to Lake Placid for the USANA Freestyle Cup, the final event before the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

USSA Nordic has announced its nominations for the 2015-16 season. Nominations include those active athletes who qualified based on published selection criteria in the prior season.

Each athlete accepting the nomination to USSA Nordic receives a high level of world class program support, along with access to athletic benefits including an elite coaching, sport science, sports medicine and high performance staff, the USSA Center of Excellence and education opportunities.

An official team announcement will be made in the fall.

PARK CITY, UT (May 17, 2017) - U.S. Ski & Snowboard has announced its U.S. Ski Team cross country nominations for the 2017-18 season. Nominations include those active athletes who qualified based on published selection criteria in the prior season.

After a strong 2016-17 season, including three World Championship medals and nine World Cup podiums, the Team is looking for medals in the upcoming 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang.

SAPPORO, Japan (Jan. 12) – World Champion Lindsey Van (Park City, UT) soared to fifth place Sunday, mounting a second-round comeback from 14th at the Sapporo World Cup. U.S. teammate Jessica Jerome (Park City, UT) sealed a seventh place with Alissa Johnson (Park City, UT) taking 14th, while Japanese jumper Sara Takanashi notched her sixth World Cup win of the season. The women jumpers now head to Zao, Japan for a pair of World Cups Jan. 18-19.
