Young up-and-coming skiers and snowboarders, eager to showcase their talent to the snowsports world, are currently competing at the 2023 U.S. Revolution Tour at Aspen Snowmass Resort in Aspen, Colo. This second of three Revolution Tour events this season showcase the next generation of skiers and snowboarders from across the country, in both slopestyle and halfpipe disciplines.
PARK CITY, UT (Jan. 31, 2017) – 2015 World Championship medalists Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO), Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) and Travis Ganong (Squaw Valley, CA) will headline a group of 23 athletes—14 men and 9 women—to compete at the 2017 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in St. Moritz, Switzerland from February 6-19.

PARK CITY, UT (Sept. 21, 2015) – Following a decision by Women’s Ski Jumping USA (WSJ-USA) to focus more on its successful Fly Girls development program, the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) will take on an expanded role in managing women’s elite ski jumping starting this fall. Program elements for the elite team will remain in place for the season under the USSA. The two organizations will work jointly to raise funds specific to women’s ski jumping moving forward.
MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA (Jan. 18) – Sage Kotsenburg (Park City, UT) took the victory in slopestyle at the final stop of the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix Tour at Mammoth Mountain. His progressive first run scored a full three points ahead of the rest of the field, including Kyle Mack (West Bloomfield, MI) in second and Ryan Stassel (Anchorage) in third. MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA (Jan. 18) – Jamie Anderson (S. Lake Tahoe, CA) took the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix overall slopestyle title and a $10,000 cash prize with her win Saturday at Mammoth Mountain. Karly Shorr (Truckee, CA) put down a progressive run to land second while Jessika Jenson (Rigby, ID) took third. Nominations for the first-ever U.S. Olympic team for slopestyle snowboarding will be announced Sunday after the final halfpipe qualifier, which will air on NBC and stream on nbcsports.com/liveextra at 3:00 p.m. EST Sunday.
PARK CITY, UT (Jan. 13) – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association has solidified a plan to replace both the halfpipe snowboarding and slopestyle snowboarding Olympic qualifying events canceled last weekend at Breckenridge. The USSA will move forward with the plan to run replacements for the third of five qualifiers this week at Mammoth Mountain, pending closure of any formal appeals to the International Ski Federation from the cancelation. The plan has approval from the U.S. Olympic Committee.
