The FIS Ski World Cup race in Zagreb, Croatia is known as the “Snow Queen Trophy”—for both Saturday’s women’s slalom race and Sunday’s men’s edition. It is a favorite stop of the women and men on the tour, where both tours collide in the unlikely, eclectic and bustling capital city of Croatia.

Tommy Ford battled rough course conditions in Niigata Yuzawa Naeba, Japan to take third place—his second podium of the season.

On Friday’s Val Gardena men’s super-G, the Stifel U.S. Ski Team had a strong day placing four in the top 30, highlighted by Jared Goldberg’s 10th place result.

As the season officially wraps for the athletes, Stifel has contributed $36,000 to the team across nine distinct award categories spanning alpine, cross country, freestyle and freeski disciplines.

On Wednesday’s classic night slalom event in Schladming, Austria, Stifel U.S. Ski Team's Ben Ritchie knifed his way to another top 10 finish in ninth place. It was his second-ever top 10 result and also the first time an American has landed in the top 10 in the slalom since Ted Ligety in 2012. 

Though our jaws are all still on the floor from Tommy Ford’s incredible inaugural visit to the podium—and the top step, no less—it is time for the FIS Ski World Cup Tour to travel across the pond to Europe.
