BIO
Bea Kim is a young snowboarding sensation from Palos Verdes, California. She took the snowboard world by storm in 2023-24, snagging her first World Cup podium with a second place finish in Laax and placing third overall in the FIS women's halfpipe World Cup standings.
She is an active Protect Our Winters (POW) Alliance Member and has attended POW-organized lobbying trips to speak about climate change's impact on winter sports and protecting public lands. She was also invited to speak to the United Nations about the effect of climate change on the world around her.
Bea is currently a senior in High School and when she's not snowboarding, you can find her reading, thrifting or doing anything outside!
