Erik Belshaw, 20, hails from Steamboat Springs, Colorado. His older sister, Annika Belshaw, is a member of the U.S. Women’s Ski Jumping team.

Belshaw competed in his first Continental Cup in the 20/21 season. He then competed in the 2020 Youth Olympic Winter Games, as well as the 2021, 2022 and 2023 Junior World Championships.

During the 2022/23 season, Belshaw was able to earn his first-ever individual World Cup points. Belshaw was also named to his first World Championships team in 2023, carding a 26th place finish in the Individual HS138 World Championship in Planica, Slovenia.

Placed second overall in the Individual HS102 event at the 2024 FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, taking home the silver medal and becoming the first-ever American in Men’s Ski Jumping to reach the podium at the Junior World Championships.
