2022 Olympian JC Schoonmaker of Lake Tahoe, CA, is entering his fifth year on the Stifel U.S. Cross Country Ski Team and will once again represent the A Team going into the 2024-24 season. Looking back to his first year on the team, JC scored World Cup points in his first World Cup start and, just a few years later, was on the podium in Östersund in the sprint, marking a historic moment for the men's U.S. team by bringing the first of what was three men's podiums during the 2023-24 season.
Outside of World Cup skiing, he was an NCAA All-American at the University of Alaska Anchorage, the 2022 U.S. Freestyle sprint champion, and a member of the 2022-23 World Championships team, where he landed in the top 10 in the sprint.
