John Kerbaugh joined the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team for his first year in the 2023-24 season. The Vermont skier found his passion for the sport at a young age at Cochran’s and continued cultivating his skillset at Mt. Mansfield Academy.
Kerbaugh’s top ski racing memories include winning his first FIS giant slalom race at Sunday River and becoming the Junior National Giant Slalom Champion at 16. During the 2024 race season Kerbaugh scored NorAm Points in all disciplines and finished top 15 at US Nationals SL.
In the 2025-26 season, Kerbaugh had a strong year with two top-10 results at the Junior World Championships in Narvik. Kerbaugh was one of the four men in the top 10 of the slalom day and also had a strong result in Team Combined. Kerbaugh was also consistently in the top 5 and top 10 in the NorAm Cup series, proving he has great consistency.
While on the Stifel U.S. Ski Team Kerbaugh is looking forward to improving his skiing, exploring new places and enjoying the process. When he isn’t skiing you can find Kerbaugh surfing, biking and trail running.
