Three-time Olympic medalist Alex Ferreira, of Aspen, Colorado, started competitive freeskiing at age 10, and his mom registered him for an aerials event without his knowledge. From there, Ferreira found halfpipe and has since become one of the most decorated halfpipe skiers in history.

Ferreira is a three-time Olympic medalist with 21 World Cup podiums, 12 World Cup wins, three World Championship medals and 9 X Games medals. He won every contest he entered in the 2023-24 season, becoming the first halfpipe skier to have a perfect season.

Ferreira just completed his Olympic medal set, winning the halfpipe gold medal in the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games.
