Winter Park native Birk Irving started sliding rails at age five and did his first 360 that same year. He was determined to be a freestyle skier, and when he got his first sponsor at age seven, he never looked back. Starting out in both halfpipe and slopestyle, he has dialed in his halfpipe run and is a podium threat in any competition.

Throughout his career, Irving has represented Team USA at two Olympic Winter Games, two World Championships and has landed himself the #1 halfpipe skier in the world during the 2022-23 season, winning the coveted FIS Crystal Globe. A four-time World Cup winner and two-time X Games medalist, Irving is among the best halfpipe skiers in the world. And, his sister, Svea Irving, is right there with him, competing for the U.S. Ski Team in halfpipe, too.
