"I want to one day leave the sport of ski racing feeling 110% fulfilled. Not fulfilled with medals around my neck rather, certainty that I worked as hard as I possibly could in every situation both on and off the hill."

4 Things You Didn't Know About Mo Lebel

  • 1. Mo has had to overcome three serious injuries in her time skiing. A bilateral Popliteal Artery entrapment as well as bilateral compartment syndrome (17/18), a spiral fracture in her tibia (18/19), and tearing all the ligaments in her elbow while returning to training (19/20).
  • 2. "I had skis below my feet at the age of two and started racing at age five. Chasing down my three older siblings on skis was what excited me about skiing. I had to keep up with them in everything we did and when it came to skiing, I actually could keep up."
  • 3. Off the hill, you can find Mo mountain biking, surfing (either behind a boat or in the ocean), and golfing.
  • 4. Lori Lebel, Mo's mom, has created a sustainable, cool, and cozy neckie brand, "Peace Is" - check it out!
