U.S. Ski & Snowboard officially announced the Junior World Championships ski cross team to represent the United States in St. Moritz, Switzerland, March 19-21. The ten athletes selected to the team qualified based on pre-determined selection criteria. The 2026 FIS Ski Cross World Championships features the top young ski cross athletes in the country.

“We’re very excited for this group to represent the U.S. at Junior World Championships,” said Chip Knight, Alpine Development Program Director at U.S. Ski & Snowboard. “We’re welcoming back Morgan Shute, who took home a bronze medal at this exact event last year, along with many experienced athletes from the Europa Cup and NorAm levels.”

The event will take place March 19-21, with both individual and team events. Qualification for the individual event takes place on March 19, with the finals on March 20. The team event rounds out the Championships on March 21.
