Bridger Gile hails from Aspen, Colo., where he learned to ski at the age of two. Gile grew up racing with Aspen Valley Ski Club and Ski and Snowboard Club Vail.
Gile was the 2020 NorAm Overall champion, he is a previous U.S. Alpine Champion in giant slalom. One of his favorite memories in his career was competing at World Juniors in 2019. He made his World Cup debut in the giant slalom in Soelden, Austria in 2020.
In the 2024-25 season Gile completed a full comeback season. He scored his first World Cup points in Krajska Gora when he landed 24th place. Gile also found success on the Europa Cup circuit, where he landed in the top 10 multiple times.
Gile made great strides on the World Cup tour in the 2025-26 season. He recorded another top 30 World Cup result in giant slalom in Kranjska Gora where he landed 27th. Gile also impressed on the Europa Cup tour where he earned a second-place finish amongst a stacked international field. Finally, he ended the season as the top U.S. male at U.S. Alpine Championships with a third-place finish in the giant slalom.
A fun fact about Gile, he played four years of high school varsity soccer making the semifinals of the state soccer tournament.
