Liv Moritz started skiing at three years-old cultivating her love for ski racing out of Vail, Colorado. Moritz had a tremendous 2022-23 season landing in third place in super-G at the U.S. Alpine Championships, a second place in the slalom at NorAm finals, and she qualified for World Juniors.
Moritz had a great 2024 season with 12 top-10 NorAm Cup results. Her top results was a fourth place in the slalom in Panorama, Canada as well as a fifth place in giant slalom.
In the 2024-25 season Moritz made her World Cup debut in the giant slalom in Kronplatz, Italy. Moritz also showed success on the NorAm Cup circuit when she won the women's slalom discipline title. In the 2025-26 season Moritz continued to level up her skiing posting a top-15 in World Cup. Moritz had a tremendous day, placing 13th in Spindleruv Mlyn. She also had a great season outside of World Cup including a Europa Cup win and multiple top-10 results.
When she is not ski racing, Moritz enjoys playing soccer and tennis. She is also involved in the organization Student Shoulder to Shoulder.
