KILLINGTON, VT (Jan. 17) – The U.S. Freeskiing and U.S. Snowboarding teams athletes will be back in action this weekend, returning to Killington, Vermont for the second stop of the Dew Tour. New for this week, the U.S. Freeskiing team welcomes its newest member Duncan Adams (Breckenridge, CO) to their halfpipe team. Adams placed third at the Dew Tour at Breckenridge in December and will surely be seeking to make his way to more podium finishes this season. There are 20 athletes from U.S. Freeskiing and U.S. Snowboarding who are set to compete.

PARK CITY, UT (Aug. 29) – The U.S. Ski Team and NBC Sports Network will partner for historic first-ever U.S. live TV broadcasts of Audi FIS Alpine World Cup ski racing as part of a pre-Sochi broadcast schedule announced by the network and the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association. The live coverage will feature Olympic champions Lindsey Vonn and Julia Mancuso from the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational Thanksgiving weekend along with fellow Olympic gold medalists Ted Ligety and Bode Miller at the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup in Beaver Creek, CO a week later.

Two-time Olympic champion and Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team athlete Ted Ligety has announced his retirement, capping a storied 17-year career. Ligety announced on Tuesday that he will stand in the start gate one final time on the world stage in the giant slalom at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships at Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy on Feb. 19th.

RASNOV, Romania (Feb. 23, 2016) - Jasper Good (Steamboat Springs, CO, Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club) opened the FIS Nordic Junior Ski Championships strong on Monday, finishing 11th in the opening nordic combined event. Austria’s Bernhard Flaschberger took gold. It was a career best Junior Worlds finish for Good and matched the sixth best finish in U.S. history.

Good, 19, soared 88.5 meters on the HS100 meter hill, putting him into 15th. He started a minute, 22 seconds back in the 10k cross country.

TRONDHEIM, Norway (March 12, 2015) - A tough morning on the jump hill was nearly washed away as Taylor Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) moved up 30 spots in cross country to finish 14th in a FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Trondheim. Norway's Magnus Moan took the win with the fourth fastest cross country as jump leader Eric Frenzel dropped to 10th.
