PARK CITY, UT (May 20) – U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) Chairman Dexter Paine named seven new members to the USSA Board of Directors at the board’s annual meeting on Sunday during USSA Congress 2014. Joining the board are Tricia Byrnes (Aspen, CO), Emily Cook (Belmont, MA), Bryan Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO), Lisa Kosglow (Hood River, OR), Darryl Landstrom (Minneapolis), Eric Resnick (Vail, CO) and Cami Thompson-Graves (East Thetford, VT). Each individual brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in sport to the board.

SALT LAKE CITY (May 9) – The connection between education and athletics is powerful. That was evident Friday as Salt Lake City’s Westminster College honored its 23 members of Team USA that brought home an unprecedented five of 17 medals won by U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association athletes in Sochi. The USSA has developed a partnership with Westminster since 2005, providing an opportunity for athletes training at the USSA Center of Excellence to be able to attend college.
