The 17 year-old took the women's slopestyle title as well as the overall season's top step before rain began falling lightly on Carinthia Parks. Brandon Davis (Mammoth Lakes, CA) won the men's season title with his second-place performance at Mount Snow to conclude his breakout first year on the U.S. Revolution Tour.

HAFJELL, Norway (March 9, 2017) – Nick Goepper (Lawrenceburg, IN) earned a silver medal in men’s slopestyle at X Games Norway on Thursday, while his U.S. Freeskiing teammate Devin Logan (West Dover, VT) earned bronze for the ladies.

Goepper, who won three consecutive X Games Aspen titles from 2013-15, skied well on the challenging course to claim his fifth overall X Games medal (he also earned silver at his first X Games appearance in 2012).

WHISTLER, CANADA (April 23) – After a season of podiums, that included an X Games gold, a Dew Tour victory and a VISA U.S. Grand Prix second, Torin Yater-Wallace (Basalt, CO) was crowned the 2012 AFP halfpipe champion after finishing third at the season finale. David Wise (Reno, NV), who had been duking it out with Yater-Wallace all winter claimed second ahead of France’s Thomas Krief. Rosalind Groenewoud of Canada won the women's AFP halfpipe title, while high school senior Maddie Bowman (South Lake Tahoe, CA) jumped to second with victory in Whistler.

INNSBRUCK, Austria (Jan. 14) - Teen Emilee Anderson (Eau Claire, WI), 16, of the Flying Eagles Ski Club in Eau Claire led the USA in the opening event of the Youth Olympic Games finishing ninth in women's ski jumping. Park City Nordic's Will Rhoads (Park City, UT) was 19th in the men's competition as the first Winter Youth Games got underway in the Olympic city of Innsbruck. The women's event was an historic first at the Olympic level and will also make its Games debut at Sochi in 2014.

LILLEHAMMER, Norway (Dec. 3) - The U.S. Ski Team's Taylor Fletcher (Steamboat Springs, CO) scored a career best 21st Saturday in a FIS Nordic Combined World Cup in Lillehammer. Fletcher, who was relagated to the 45th position at the cross country start based on provisional jump results, skied the second fastest 10k to move up over 20 places. Olympic champion Billy Demong was 25th with Norwegian Haavard Klemetsen getting the win.
