KITZBUEHEL, Austria (Jan. 20) - Overnight rain transitioned to pancake sized flakes of saturated snow Friday morning, forcing a unanimous jury cancelation of the Hahnenkamm super G. Rain mixed with snow is predicted to fall throughout the day. The 72nd Hahnenkamm downhill is slated for Saturday with Bode Miller (Franconia, NH) hunting for his first Audi FIS Alpine World Cup downhill victory on the storied Streif.

For athletes, membership prices range from $0-$100 before October 1, depending on the age group. Ruggies are still free, while Groms are only $50. For coaches and officials, membership prices are $150 and $100, respectively.

LIENZ, Austria (Dec. 28) - World Champion Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) returned to the site of her first Audi FIS Alpine World Cup slalom podium to further her status as a giant slalom threat after finishing third Saturday in Lienz. Fourth after the opening run, Shiffrin stormed within .01 of second place on the icy slope for just the second World Cup giant slalom podium of her young career. Her first came Dec. 1 in Beaver Creek, CO, site of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. The race will broadcast at 11 a.m. ET on Universal Sports Network.

WENGEN, Switzerland (Jan. 19) - Olympic super combined champion Bode Miller (Franconia, NH) made a statement toward defending his gold medal with 26th in the Wengen slalom for his first Audi FIS Alpine World Cup points in the discipline since 2011. COPPER MOUNTAIN, CO (Jan. 10) – Jackie Wiles (Aurora, OR) and Bryce Bennett (Squaw Valley, CA) claimed the U.S Alpine Championships downhill titles during a chilly Tuesday at U.S. Ski Team Speed Center.
