USSA CONGRESS 2014 

USSA Congress is the annual meeting of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, held each May, this year in Park City, Utah. The USSA Congress is open to all USSA members, regardless of committee participation. USSA Congress 2014 was a huge success. Sport committees, subcommittees and the USSA Board of Directors all held very successful meetings and solicited collaborative discussion on a variety of topics. Attendance was at an all-time high, with a record number attending President and CEO Tiger Shaw’s opening address.

Nina O’Brien started skiing out of Palisades Tahoe where she participated on the Mighty Mite program. O’Brien began her racing career on the West Coast with Team Palisades before moving back East to attend Burke Mountain Academy. U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced on Dec. 23, 2020 that the 2021 Land Rover U.S. Grand Prix FIS Freeski and Snowboard World Cup at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Calif., originally scheduled for Feb. 3-6 has been postponed.

The International Ski Federation (FIS), U.S. Ski & Snowboard, and Mammoth Mountain are working closely together to reschedule the events and will follow up with more information as it becomes available.
