BORMIO, Italy (Jan. 5) - Teen Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) sliced through sloppy snow and rain to win the Bormio slalom for her third straight Audi FIS Alpine World Cup top three finish. It was the sixth World Cup slalom victory of her young career and comes just 33 days before the start of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia.

LAKE LOUISE, AB (Dec. 4) - Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) completed a historic clean sweep in Lake Louise, topping the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup super G podium with Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) third. It was Vonn's 45th career World Cup win and 11th in Lake Louise. LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland (March 13) – Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) skied into the top ten Thursday at the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup super G final, leading the U.S. women during the final speed event of the 2014 season. All three U.S. women finished in the points during the sunny super G finale, with Stacey Cook (Mammoth Mountain, CA) finishing 11th and Leanne Smith (North Conway, NH) 14th behind race winner and World Cup super G champion Lara Gut of Switzerland. LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland (March 12) - Two-time Olympic champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) became only the second American man in history to podium in all five events, tying for second in the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup Finals downhill in Lenzerheide. Ligety, who started fourth to set the early pace, was just .11 off the winning time of Austrian Matthias Mayer, tying with Italian Christof Innerhofer. The finish bumped Ligety up to third in the World Cup overall chase with three races remaining. Universal Sports will broacast same-day coverage at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. EDT.
ARE, Sweden (March 7) - Olympic medalists Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) finished 20th and Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) 24th in the last Audi FIS Alpine World Cup women's giant slalom prior to the World Cup Finals. Rain and high winds forced the organizers to lower the start for each run, cutting at least 15 seconds off the run times. Austrian Anna Fenninger won for the second straight day to move into the overall World Cup points lead and jump within 14 points of giant slalom leader Jessica Lindell-Vikarby of Sweden.
ARE, Sweden (March 6) - Olympic slalom champion Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) finished 15th Thursday to lead the U.S. Ski Team in the first of two Audi FIS Alpine World Cup giant slalom races held in Are. Austrian Anna Fenninger took the win for her second straight World Cup giant slalom victory, moving her firmly into the chase for both the overall and giant slalom titles. Fenninger now trails Germany Maria Hoefl-Riesch by a 67 points in the overall chase and Swede Jessica Lindell-Vikarby by 54 points in giant slalom.
ST. MORITZ, Switzerland (Feb. 2) - Four-time World Champion and Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) blasted through thick fog to win the final Audi FIS Alpine World Cup giant slalom before the Olympics by a massive 1.51 second margin over Marcel Hirscher of Austria. Ligety masterfullly arced to a 1.28 second first run lead, then didn't hold back in the bumpy final to claim the wire-to-wire win, the 21st of his career.
