ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Feb. 10) – Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) produced a true champion performance Monday, becoming the first American skier in history to win a medal in three straight Olympic Winter Games with her bronze in a tricky super combined event at the Rosa Khutor alpine center. Mancuso skied into the lead in the downhill portion and then ripped up the slalom that bumped nine skiers off course, finishing third behind gold winner Maria Hoefl-Riesch of Germany and silver winner Nicole Hosp of Austria. Mancuso and the women will be back to take on downhill on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

LEVI, Finland (Nov. 10) – Seventeen-year-old Mikaela Shiffrin converted a trip to the Arctic Circle into the second Audi FIS Alpine World Cup slalom podium of her career after finishing third in Levi. While she doesn't yet have a driver's license or a high school diploma – she graduates from Burke Mountain Academy next spring – the podium came in only the 12th World Cup slalom start of her young career. Olympic slalom champion Maria Hoefl-Riesch of Germany won with Finn local Tanja Poutianen in second as wind and challenging light drifted in and out of both runs.

SQUAW VALLEY, CA (March 21) - It was locals day at Squaw Valley as Tim Jitloff (Reno, NV) boosted his U.S. title count to four with victory in the men's giant slalom to close a sun soaked day one of competition at the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships. Defending champ Robby Kelley (Starksboro, VT) landed second and Seppi Stiegler (Jackson Hole, WY) in third. Top junior honors went to Kieffer Christianson (Anchorage), who finished fourth in the race.

CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, Italy (Jan. 25) - The U.S. Ski Team speed women continued to storm toward the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup podum Saturday as Stacey Cook (Mammoth Mountain, CA) finished fifth and Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) seventh in the second of two Cortina downhills. With less than two weeks to the 2014 Olympic Winter Games, the pair has now finished inside the World Cup top 10 in three striaght races with Cook also finishing fifth in Friday's downhill. Tina Maze of Slovenia, last season's overall and downhill champion, took her first victory of the 2014 season.

WENGEN, Switzerland (Jan. 17, 2015)—The men were back on the Wengen slalom hill again on Saturday, but this time for a traditional slalom Audi FIS Ski World Cup. David Chodounsky (Crested Butte, CO) took 18th, while Ted Ligety (Park City, CO) finished 27th. Felix Neureuther of Germany claimed his second win of the season.

With Hirscher straddling on the first run, the race seemed like was anyone’s game. Neureuther took first, while Adelboden-winner Stefano Gross of Italy came in second and Henrik Kristofferson of Norway third.

PARK CITY, UT (February 4) - A parade of snowsport athletes spanning from Vermont to Alaska will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2014, as part of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association’s (USSA) first annual National Club Day. All Olympic snowsports will be represented including alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, ski jumping, freestyle and freeskiing. This event is a celebration of the more than 400 skiing and snowboarding clubs across the nation that educate and train skiing and snowboarding athletes, some of whom go on to be Olympic competitors.

In an aggressive race that saw higher speeds than training, the twisty turny Schladming S turn midway down the course took its toll on the USA as France's Marion Rolland took the surprise gold. SCHLADMING, Austria (Feb. 5) - Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) put on a full speed attack through fog, soft snow and deep ruts to win super G bronze on the opening day of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships in Schladming. It was her fifth career World Championships medal, third in super G and a women's record eighth major championship medal. Audi FIS Alpine World Cup overall and super G leader Tina Maze of Slovenia captured gold with Lara Gut of Switzerland silver.
