LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland (March 13) – Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) won a record 17th Audi FIS Alpine World Cup globe and record sixth straight downhill title after fog forced officials to cancel the final men's and women's downhills on Wednesday. Vonn won three of seven World Cup downhills this season and missed two due to injury following her super G crash at World Champs. Wednesday cemented the U.S. Ski Team’s win of the women’s downhill standings by 457 points over the Swiss thanks to nine U.S. podiums from five different women.

ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Feb. 22) – The dramatic conclusion of alpine skiing at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games Saturday featured an impressive 13th by Nolan Kasper (Warren, VT) to top the results for Team USA during an incredibly difficult slalom finale. Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) skied into sixth place in his first run and put forth a heroic effort to tame the wild course, but he missed a gate and went out halfway through his second run.

LENZERHEIDE, Switzerland (March 16) – The 2014 Audi FIS Alpine World Cup season came to a close Sunday in Lenzerheide, where World Cup giant slalom champion Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) capped another incredible season and led the USA with a 12th-place finish in the slalom finale. Ultimately, the race and the day went to Austrian Marcel Hirscher, who claimed both the slalom title as well as the World Cup overall title with the impressive conclusion. The race is set to air on Universal Sports at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Feb. 12) - Super combined bronze medalist Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) led the U.S. Ski Team with eighth in Thursday's Olympic downhill as Dominique Gisin of Switzerland and Tina Maze of Slovenia made history with a tie for gold. An Olympic medal tie has happened four times since 1948 in alpine skiing, but before today, had never happened for a gold medal.

LEVI, Finland (Nov. 16) - World Champion Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) dominated the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup opening slalom with a wire-to-wire victory to notch the fifth World Cup win of her young career. The 18-year-old was the only athlete in the field to post two sub 58-second runs, besting 2010 Olympic champion Maria Hoefl-Riesch of Germany by a massive 1.06 seconds and reigning World Cup overall champion Tina Maze by 1.61.
