CRANS MONTANA, Switzerland (March 2) - Olympic super combined bronze medalist Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) lost a pole, but hung on to lead the U.S. Ski Team with 18th Sunday in the final downhill prior to the March 10-17 World Cup Finals. Only the top 25 athletes in each discipline qualify to start at World Cup Finals. Stacey Cook (Mammoth Mountain, CA) finished 21st in the race and will also have a downhill start during the March 12 women's race.

KRANJSKA GORA, Slovenia (March 11) - Will Brandenburg (Spokane, WA) laid down a blistering final run of slalom Sunday to land an Audi FIS Alpine World Cup career best sixth in Kranjska Gora as Sweden's Andre Myrer took the win. Ted Ligety (Park City, UT), who won Saturday's giant slalom by 1.61 seconds, tied for ninth to secure the Vitranc Trophy signifying the fastest racer over the two-day series.

KITZBUEHEL, Austria (Jan. 21) - Swiss Didier Cuche won a historic fifth Hahnenkamm downhill Saturday to surpass Austrian legend Franz Klammer for the most downhill wins at Kitzbuehel. Klammer, covered in wet snow, was in the race finish to congratulate Cuche, who announced Thursday that he will retire from the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup tour at the end of the season. Heavy snow fell overnight and throughout the race forcing the jury to shorten the notorious Streif by three quarters of a second.

ROSA KHUTOR, Russia (Feb. 19) – Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) laid down a truly Olympic performance Wednesday to earn the first-ever giant slalom gold medal for the USA at the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games. Ligety led by 0.93-seconds after his first run at the sunny Rosa Khutor venue, where he was able to become the second American in history to win two alpine gold medals after Andrea Mead Lawrence in 1952. France filled out the podium with Steve Missillier earning silver and Alexis Pinturault bronze. The historic race airs on NBC’s Primetime Olympic coverage at 8:00 p.m.

PARK CITY, UT (March 20, 2017) – With the conclusion of the 2017 FIS World Championships in Sierra Nevada, Spain, the United States is taking center stage as the host nation for the bi-annual event. Utah ski destinations Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain and Solitude Mountain Resort will host skiing and snowboarding events during the 2019 FIS Freestyle, Snowboarding and Freeski World Championships, scheduled for Feb. 1-10, 2019.
