ASPEN, CO (Nov 30) - Mikaela Shiffrin (Eagle-Vail, CO) had a fast morning at the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational, winning the first run. But she overskied the second run and dropped to fifth. Nicole Hosp of Austria took the win, improving from seventh place after the first run. Shiffrin remained second in the overall Audi FIS Ski World Cup standings, and is eighth in slalom after two races.

VAL D'ISERE, France (Dec. 21, 2014) - Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CA) capped the speed weekend in Val d'Isere finishing sixth in an Audi FIS Ski World Cup super G. Austria's Elisabeth Goergl took the win, while Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) saw her hopes of matching the all-time win record dashed when she crashed near the top of the course. Four Americans cracked into the points.

ASPEN, CO (Nov. 26) - Olympic champion Julia Mancuso (Squaw Valley, CO) broke a seven-year jinx, taking the number three podium spot with two brilliant GS runs at the Nature Valley Aspen Winternational.  Lindsey Vonn (Vail, CO) battled back from a tough first run (21st) to finish 12th. It was the first U.S. podium in Aspen since Kristina Koznick was third in a slalom in November, 2004 and the first U.S. women's GS podium since Tamara McKinney's win in 1981. Defending World Cup GS champ Viktoria Rebensburg of Germany survived a near crash on the first run to comeback for the win.

SOELDEN, Austria (Oct. 25, 2015)—In front of a packed crowd, Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) reminded ski racing fans of his giant slalom skills at the opening Audi FIS Ski World Cup race, taking his fourth win in Soelden, Austria. It was a stacked podium, with Thomas Fanara of France and Marcel Hirscher of Austria finishing under two-tenths behind Ligety, in second and third place respectively.
