GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (March 2) - Laurenne Ross (Bend, OR) became the sixth U.S. Ski Team women's speed athlete to finish in the Audi FIS Alpine World Cup top three this season with a stunning second in the Garmisch downhill. With her career first podium, Ross also became the fourth U.S. woman to land her first World Cup podium this season, joining teammates Stacey Cook (Mammoth Mountain, CA), Leanne Smith (N. Conway, NH) and Alice McKennis (Glenwood Springs, CO).

BEAVER CREEK, CO (Feb. 5, 2015)— With bluebird skies overhead, the men raced the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships super G in Beaver Creek, CO. Ted Ligety (Park City, UT) was the top finishing American in ninth place, while Bode Miller (Franconia, NH) made his return to ski racing with a huge crash. In the end, Austria’s Hannes Reichelt was the fastest of the day, followed by Canada’s Dustin Cook and Adrien Theaux of France in second and third, respectively.
Park City, Utah (June 10, 2025) – The Stifel U.S. Ski Team is thrilled to announce the first four athletes to qualify for the 2026 Olympic team: two from the Stifel U.S. Freeski Team and two from the Stifel U.S. Freestyle Ski Team. 2022 Olympic gold medalist Alex Hall qualified for slopestyle and big air and two-time Olympic medalist Alex Ferreira qualified in halfpipe. 2022 Olympic silver medalist Jaelin Kauf qualified in moguls and dual moguls and two-time world champion Quinn Dehlinger in aerials.
After a week of questionable weather reports, both the classic unpredictability of St. Moritz, Switzerland and the sunshine shone through on Saturday during a super-G where Mikaela Shiffrin led three women into the points for the Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team with a third-place finish.
Prior to Saturday's race, Mikaela told NBC, "It doesn't matter what the conditions are or what the weather is, the most aggressive, cleanest skier is going to end up on top." On Saturday, that honor went to Italy's Sofia Goggia.

Travis Ganong (Squaw Valley, CA) was the top American finisher, toughing out a ninth place finish after falling ill and missing the downhill.
