To kick off U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s new partnership with Toyota, a few of Toyota’s NASCAR stars got the chance to train with U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes at the Center of Excellence in Park City.

Included amongst the NASCAR athletes were Furniture Row Racing drivers Martin Truex Jr. and Erik Jones, Joe Gibbs Racing driver Daniel Suarez, as well as Truex’s crew chief Cole Pearn and Jones’ crew chief Chris Gayle.

Four Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team athletes finished in the top 30 in the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup Bormio super-G on Thursday. Ryan Cochran-Siegle led the way with a 13th-place finish among the strong men's field.

The group of U.S. U16 alpine racers sent to the FESA Games posted strong results among its international competitors. The group was led by Katie Rowekamp who won two golds, one in super-G and one in giant slalom along with Charles Lemerond who won gold in slalom and bronze in giant slalom. Additional medalists included Mari Renick who won silver in super-G and Kira Hiebert who won bronze in the slalom.

Mikaela Shiffrin's slalom season came to its conclusion Saturday with an eighth-place finish in the FIS World Cup Finals in Courchevel, France. Shiffrin was also acknowledged for her overall season performance, where she finished second in the overall standings behind Slovakian rival Petra Vlhova.

An enormous crowd showed up to the Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup to watch the best men tech racers in the world race the first Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup at Palisades Tahoe since 2017. George Steffey was the top U.S. man in the giant slalom, scoring his first career World Cup points in 21st place.

Marco Schwarz of Austria won the race in a thrilling fashion, with 2022 overall World Cup winner and first run winner Marco Odermatt just missing a victory by .03 seconds and finishing second. Rasmus Windingstad of Norway was third.
