It was a beautiful night for slalom in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy with Daniel Yule of Switzerland taking his second-ever FIS Ski World Cup win on his evidently favorite track, having also won his first World Cup on the same track last season. Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway was second, and young Frenchman Clément Noël continued his excellent season with a third-place finish.

On day two of Stifel America’s Downhill in Aspen, Colorado, the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team had a tremendous and emotional day. To start the exciting race off, Bryce Bennett skied into his best result of the season with a 10th place finish.

“I’ve been skiing really hard all winter long,” said Bennett. “I've barely taken any time off and today was the first time this season I could really race and it was a good feeling.”

Stifel U.S. Alpine Team athletes Mikaela Shiffrin and Paula Moltzan finished sixth and 19th on the first day of the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup giant slalom series in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia.

The women’s first run was stacked, with mere tenths of a second separating first from 10th, making for a competitive second run. After the first run, Shiffrin clocked in fifth and Moltzan 14th.

On Friday’s super-G in Kitzbühel, Austria, Stifel U.S. Ski Team athlete Bryce Bennett led the way in 19th place. It was his best super-G result at this venue. Jared Goldberg was 22nd and Wiley Maple rounded out the points for the U.S. in 29th.
