In the first day of the two-day giant slalom series in Kranjksa Gora, Slovenia, River Radamus led the way for the Americans with a 15th place finish.

On Friday’s World Championships giant slalom, River Radamus led the way for the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team with a 12th place finish. Radamus notably the third fastest on his second run.

“I was disappointed in my first run, did not feel like I pushed hard enough,” said Radamus. “I realized I had nothing to lose so I laid it all out on my second run.”

River Radamus led the way for the American men to score his first points at the Kranjska Gora giant slalom, finishing 16th overall after making a few agile recoveries to stay in the mix. Tommy Ford followed suit, hanging on to finish 22nd in his return to the World Cup stage.

Stifel U.S. Ski Team athlete River Radamus posted a career best World Cup finish in the Adelboden, Switzerland giant slalom, taking fourth place, just a mere 0.12 seconds out of a podium spot. 

The Adelboden crowd is always a highlight on the tour and this year they did not disappoint. The hollers and singing could be heard from the start on run one.

On day three of the U.S. Alpine Championships at Aspen Highlands, the men came out charging, with Land Rover U.S. Alpine Ski Team athlete River Radamus emerging victorious in the super-G, while teammate Luke Winters grabbed the win in the alpine combined.

The Stifel U.S. Alpine Team tech men had a strong showing at the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in Alta Badia on Monday with River Radamus leading the way in 10th place. Tommy Ford had a speedy second run and ended up in 15th place.

“It was a good step in the right direction,” said Radamus. “This is a really special hill for me. I always want to come and perform here.”

On Friday’s super-G at the Stifel Birds of Prey River Radamus led the way for the Stifel U.S. Ski Team in 12th place with teammate Ryan Cochran-Siegle just behind in 13th. Jared Goldberg rounded out the group in 25th. 

It was a tricky weather day for the racers, with wind, snow and more causing long delays and questions on whether the race would go off. After a hold for the first 30 minutes, the race went on. However, it was a bit of a wait for the first American, the day prior’s second-place finisher, Cochran-Siegle.
