The ultimate in sport is representing Team USA at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan-Cortina, Italy. Athletes are primarily named to the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Olympic Team based on objective criteria such as FIS World Rank and World Cup competition results.

Please Note: On December 2, 2025 The Court of Arbitration for Sport released their decision to allow the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus as Individual Neutral Athletes (AIN) in qualification events for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As such, Selection Method 3 of the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Cross Country Athlete Selection Procedures, as found in section 6.2.3, will reflect Top 50 World Cup Sprint or Distance Standings.
